Graduate student John Calise was awarded a 2017 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship for his proposal titled “Determining the role of IMPDH filaments in mammalian guanine nucleotide homeostasis.” This year, the NSF awarded fellowships to 2,000 individuals chosen from over 13,000 applicants from a wide range of scientific disciplines.
